Google Calendar, Gmail and Google Docs will work offline 01.09.2021 [19:37], Anna Kirikova

Google announced that it will allow access to some of its online services without an Internet connection. So, for example, it will be possible to view your Gmail inbox, use Google Docs and make notes in Google Calendar while offline. This can be done using special applications, some of which can already be found in the Chrome Web Store.

HTML5 apps are very similar in appearance to the Gmail app for tablets as they are based on. In order to view pages without connecting to the Network, you just need to activate a special mode. At the moment, you can only download a program for using Gmail. Appropriate offline apps for Google Calendar and Docs should be available within a week. It is also reported that soon similar applications may "work" in other browsers.
