Many exhibits at the recent CES 20221 have already received the status of serial products, and the Versa H17 case from Thermaltake was no exception. The novelty is one of the most affordable offers of the Taiwanese manufacturer and at the same time is suitable for assembling powerful gaming PCs and workstations.

In addition to the basic version of Thermaltake Versa H17 (part number CA-1J1-00S1NN-00), there will also be a model with an acrylic window in the side panel - Versa H17 Window (CA-1J1-00S1WN-00). The weight of both housing options is approximately the same and is equal to 4.5 kg. The dimensions are more modest than those of the average Mid-Tower - especially the length and height of the structure, which are 380 and 390 mm, respectively. The width of the Versa H17 / H17 Window is not inferior to many budget Mid-Tower cases (205 mm), although the space for a processor cooler is still limited to 155 mm.

The product is predominantly made of SPCC grade steel. Its thickness is hardly more than 0.6 mm. Mesh inserts on the sides of the bezel and on the top. Despite their presence, the body looks "stuffy". The I / O panel contains jacks for a microphone and headphones, Reset and Power buttons, two USB 2 connectors.0 and single USB 3.0.

The interior of the case is divided into two compartments. In the upper part there can be a Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboard, a pair of dual-slot video cards up to 350 mm long, two 2.5-inch drives and large-size liquid cooling system units - including radiators of standard sizes 120 and 240-280 mm. There is also plenty of room for fans with 120- and 140-mm impellers, there can be up to five of them in total. However, the delivery set includes only one "Carlson" - 120 mm (rotation speed 1000 rpm, noise level 16 dBA).

Space under the Thermaltake logo enclosure for an ATX-compatible PSU up to 220mm in length and two 3.5-inch hard drives.

Sales of the version of the new case without a window in the side panel have already begun, however, not everywhere. Versa H17 has appeared in the price lists of some American and Australian online stores - prices start at $ 44.99. A model with an acrylic insert will cost approximately $ 55-65, excluding taxes.
